BASIC OPERATIONS
WHEN MEASURING THE OCULAR PRESSURE AND CORNEA THICKNESS
OF THE EYE
PREPARATIONS BEFORE MEASUREMENT (TONO/PACHO MODE)
TURN ON THE POWER
1 Make sure the power cable is connected.
For connection, see "CONNECTING THE POWER CABLE" on page 34.
2 Press ON the .
3 Make sure the TITLE screen is displayed and the MEASUREMENT screen is displayed in
a few seconds.
4 Press the of the control panel and display the TONO/PACHO MEA-
SUREMENT screen.
CAUTION
To avoid injury in changing the measurement mode, do not
place fingers into the measuring opening.
* Inform the patient accordingly
MEMO
The measurement in auto mode may be impossible due to the eyelid and
the eyelashes over to the pupil.
For this case, an operator tells the patient to open eyes enough, or lifts
the eyelid while taking care so as to press the patient's eye.
MEMO
The measurement in auto mode may be impossible due to the frequent
blinks or an abnormality in the corneal surface because of corneal dis-
ease etc.
In this case, use manual mode.
If the is pressed while the title screen is displayed, the
MEASUREMENT screen is obtained.
