MEASURING THE HARD CONTACT LENS
1 Make sure of kerato measurement (R/K mode or KRT mode). If not, choose kerato mea-
surement (R/K mode or KRT mode) by the .
2 Fill the recessed part of the contact lens holder with water, and place the contact lens
there.
• The contact lens adheres by surface tension.
• Take care not to allow bubbles in between.
• Keep the measured lens surface free of water drops.
3 Insert the attached model eye into chinrest tissue pins.
4 Perform measurement in the same manner as the kerato measurement.
When measuring the base curve (recessed part) of contact lens, the axial angle is
reversed from the normal kerato measurement (projected part.)
