2. Removal
1) Loosen the elastic studs on the top end
bearing and remove their round nuts,
refer to 9403−4.
2) Attach the eye bolts (EB1 and EB2,
Fig. 3) to the bearing cover (3).
3) Attach the lifting rings (94332) to
cylinder block (1) with screws (2).
4) Torque the screws (2) to 200 Nm.
5) Attach the manual ratchets (H1, H2) to
the lifting rings (94332) and the eye
bolts (EB1, EB2).
6) Operate equally the manual ratchets
(H1, H2) to lift the bearing cover (3).
7) Attach protection to the crosshead
pin (4) to prevent damage and
contamination.
