1. Preparation
1) Read the data in 0012−1 General
Guidelines for Lifting Tools.
2) Stop the engine, refer to the Operation
Manual 0310−1.
3) Stop the cooling water pump.
4) Close the butterfly valves (1, Fig. 1) of
the scavenge air cooler (SAC) (3).
5) Drain the water from the SAC (3).
6) Remove the drain and vent pipes (5, 6).
7) Remove the inlet and outlet
pipes (2, 7).
