c. Arrow down to Finish and press OK.
d. Press the Start/B&W button and then, if prompted to select a paper size, select a size or accept
the default and press OK.
6. If you do not know the Speed Dial entry number you can search for it:
a. At Speed Dial, press OK and then at Search press OK again.
b. At the Search menu, enter the first letter of the entry name and then press OK.
Note: If you are entering more than the first letter in the name, you will need to match the case
used in the name (for example, first letter capital, second lower case, etc.).
c. After the printer finishes searching and displays a list of entries, select the desired entry and
press OK.
d. Arrow down to Finish and press OK, then press the Start/B&W button. If prompted to select a
size, select a document size and then press OK.
Faxing to a Group
Set up and save group names to easily access them when you want to send a fax to a group. Groups
can include both individual and group entries once they have been set up. For information on setting
up fax number groups in the printer’s address book, see Adding Fax Numbers to the Address Book on
page 131.
To send a fax to a group in the Address Book:
1. Place the document to be faxed on the document glass or in the auto document feeder.
2. On the printer control panel, press the Fax button.
3. At Fax:To, press the OK button.
4. Press the Down Arrow button to go to Address Book and then press OK.
5. If you know the Group Dial entry number for the group you want to fax, then at Group Dial:
a. Type in the Group Dial entry number using the keypad and then press OK.
b. Confirm that the entry displayed is the one you want and then press OK, then press OK again.
c. Arrow down to Finish and press OK.
d. Press the Start/B&W button and then, if prompted to select a paper size, select a size or accept
the default and press OK.
6. If you do not know the Group Dial entry number you can search for it:
