Locating the Printer Serial Number
When ordering supplies or contacting Xerox for assistance, you will be asked to provide your printer’s
serial number.
You can find the printer’s serial number on the printer or by printing the Configuration page.
• To find the serial number on the machine, open the top of the printer and look on the left side on
the metal bar near the front.
• To find the serial number on the Configuration page:
a. On the printer control panel, press the Back/Menu button to enter the System Menu.
b. Press the Down Arrow button to go to Print Config Page and then press OK.
The Configuration page will print. The printer’s serial number will be listed near the top of the
General Information section on the left side of the page.
Consumables
Use only genuine Xerox Toner Cartridges (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black).
Notes:
• Each toner cartridge includes installation instructions.
• Install only new cartridges in your printer. If a used toner cartridge is installed, then toner
remaining amount displayed may not be accurate.
• To enhance print quality, the toner cartridges have been designed to cease functioning at a
predetermined point.
