4. Slide the width guides until they rest lightly against the edge of the paper stack.
Note: Do not force the paper. Be careful not to bend the paper.
5. Place the dust cover back on the tray unless you are using legal-size paper.

Loading Paper in the 500-Sheet Feeder
Note: These instructions are for Phaser 6121MFP/N and /D printer configurations with the optional
500-sheet feeder (Tray 2) installed.
Only the following media can be used in the 500-sheet feeder:
• Plain paper, size A4 and Letter, 16 – 24 lb. bond, up to 500 sheets.
Caution: Do not use media intended for inkjet printers.
To load paper in the 500-sheet feeder:
1. Pull out the 500-sheet feeder as far as it will go, then gently lift it up and pull it out of the printer.
