Delay Sending a Fax
This feature allows you to send a fax at a specific time to a specified destination within a 24-hour
period.
To send a fax at a specified time (within 24 hours):
1. On the printer control panel, press the Fax button.
2. At Fax To:, press the OK button and then enter a fax number or select one from the address book.
3. Press OK. If desired, select any other settings such as image toner density or resolution and then
press OK.
4. Press the Down Arrow button to go to Send Mode and verify that it is set to Memory. If it is not,
press OK, then select Scan then Dial and press OK.
5. Arrow down to Delay Send (TX) and then press OK.
6. In the Send Time row, use the alphanumeric keypad buttons to enter the time to send the fax. Use
the 24-hour format (00:00 to 23:59).
7. Press OK and then press the Start/B&W button.
The fax is scanned and saved to be sent at the time you specified.
Note: When there are faxes waiting to be sent, the Fax button on the printer control panel will be
blinking.
Canceling a Delayed Send Fax
To cancel a fax scheduled for a delayed send:
1. On the printer control panel, press the Fax button.
2. Press the Down Arrow button to go to Cancel Delay Send and the press the OK button.
3. Delayed send faxes are listed. Select the one you want to cancel and then press OK.
4. To cancel sending the fax, select Yes. (If you change your mind about canceling the fax, select No.)
5. Press OK.
