Repeating Print Defects on Print
The distance between each artifact of a repeating image
defect reveals which imaging component is causing the
defect. Transfix Roller defects show up as light spots in
solid fill areas.

1. Use service diagnostics to check the paper
preheater temperature.
2. Is the preheater operating within normal
range?
Replace in the following order:
■ preheater
■ electronics module

2. Clean the transfix roller. The defect does not
move in the X-position.
