3.11 Installing and removing P&C reflector modules
Normally, the reflector turret is factory-equipped with P&C (Push&Click) reflector modules if requested by
the customer. However, the user can also change the equipment of these turrets.
The reflector turret is designed to
hold a maximum of six or ten reflector modules, depending on the
model.
3.11.1 Installing a module
Fold up cover flap (Fig. 19/4) to the right on
reflector turret (Fig. 19/3) and unhinge it using
the handle (Fig. 19/7) on the left.
Turn the reflector turret until the desired
position (position ID labeled on reflector turret)
can be accessed in the mounting hole.
Holding it by the handles (Fig. 19/5) to the right
and left of the module, insert the module
(Fig. 19/6) obliquely from the bottom into the
upper spring clips (Fig. 19/1) on the reflector
turret.
Then press the bottom of the module until it
snaps securely into the lower spring clips
(Fig. 19/2) of the reflector turret as well.
3.11.2 Removing a module
Slightly tilting the module, release it first from the bottom spring clips and then from the top spring
clips. Remove it completely.
After having removed and installed the reflector modules, re-apply the cover flap and let it snap in.
Turn the reflector turret through three or five positions (10-position reflector turret) to swing the
newly installed module into the optical path.
After equipping the turret as desired, label the adhesive labels with the new filter combination and
affix them to the corresponding fields on the cover flap.
