This chapter discusses the System Status, System Information and Console Port Speed, Log and Trace
and Diagnostic SMT menus.
24.1 Introduction
Select 24 in the main menu to open Menu 24 – System Maintenance, as shown next.

24.2 System Status
System status is a tool that can be used to monitor your VLC1012. System maintenance gives you information on
your system firmware version and the status/statistics of the ports. Similarly, Spanning Tree Protocol Status and
VLAN Status display STP and VLAN information

Step 1. Enter 24 from the main menu to go to Menu 24 – System Maintenance.
