Carefully note BOTH physical orientation of the
triac AND which of its three leads connects to each
of its terminals. A mistake here in reassembly may
destroy the new triac and/or result in a lack of
proper oven control.
Remove three wires from the triac.
Remove two 5.5-mm hex nuts with captured lockwashers
securing the triac.
Lift the triac straight up to remove it. Also, if necessary, remove
the thin piece of plastic film found under the triac.
In reinstallation, remember to first install the piece of plastic film
supplied with the new triac.
