DIAGNOSTICS
Note: If the DMA Test Diskette is loaded from a
drive other than drive A, the following message will
appear:
Please reboot the system with distribution diskette in Drive A
6. Load the DMA Test Diagnostics by entering:
A>DMA—Test<CR>
7. When the diagnostics have been loaded, MENU A will
appear on the screen.
When the DMA controller test is executed, the following message
is displayed:
Motherboard DMA Controller Teat Version X.X
This program teats the DMA controller for multichannel operation
If the DMA chip has a bug the program may hang
If this happens for more than 120 seconds,
run the test again. If the computer hangs
restart the computer and
second time, or a fail
message is reported, a new PAL, PLS2B, is available from the Hot-Line,
1-800-922-0354, to correct «the problem.
