14.5.4 Adjusting - Drum brake
WARNING
Serious injury
Check regularly that the brake is correctly adjusted. When the drum is disengaged
there is a risk that the cable may unreel uncontrollably.
Increase braking force
1.
Undo the lock nut on the adjusting screw (3).
2.
Rotate the brake nipple clockwise one quarter turn (3).
3.
Tighten the locking nut.
Decrease braking force
1.
Undo the lock nut on the adjusting screw (3).
2.
Rotate the brake nipple anticlockwise one quarter turn (3).
3.
Tighten the locking nut.

CAUTION
Risk of injury
Check the cable regularly. Do not use the winch if the cable is damaged.
