Avaya J100 Series - Ringtones

Parameter name Default value Description
SOFTKEY_CONFIGURATION 0,1, and 2 Specifies which feature shows up
on which soft key on the Avaya
J129 IP Phone screen.
The options are:
• 0 = Redial
• 1 = Contacts
• 2 = Emergency
• 3 = Recents
• 4 = Voicemail
Note:
Emergency calls are not
supported in an Open SIP
environment.
ENABLE_CALL_LOG 1 Determines whether call logging
and associated menus are
available on the phone.
Note:
Set this parameter to 0 if you
want to keep the user’s data
private before the user has
access to the phone.
Ringtones
By default, all Avaya J100 Series IP Phones have eighteen ringtones. You can add additional
ringtones by setting the parameter RINGTONES in the 46xxsettings.txt file.
In an open SIP environment, you can define whether the user can personalize the ringtone. You
can manage the user experience with the phone.
In a 3Cx environment that supports the central administration of default ringtones, you can
configure the default ringtone for the phone users.
