Chapter 4: Open SIP operation modes
In an Open SIP environment, you can deploy Avaya J100 Series IP Phones in the following
operation modes:
Generic
BroadSoft
3CX
Netsapiens
RingCentral
®
Generic mode
The phone supports the Sipping 19 features in the Generic mode. You can use the generic mode by
setting the 3PCC_SERVER_MODE to 0.

BroadSoft mode
The phone supports the basic and advance set of features and functionality in the BroadSoft mode.
You can use the BroadSoft mode by setting the 3PCC_SERVER_MODE to 1.
In the BroadSoft operation mode, you can configure Avaya J100 Series IP Phones by using the
following:
BroadSoft Device Management System
Xtended Service Interface (Xsi)

3CX mode
The phone supports the basic and advance set of features in the 3CX mode. You can use the 3CX
mode by setting the 3PCC_SERVER_MODE to 2. In 3CX mode, you can configure Avaya J100
Series IP Phones by using the PnP provisioning.

Netsapiens mode
The phone supports the basic set of features in the Netsapiens mode. You can use the Netsapiens
mode by setting the 3PCC_SERVER_MODE to 3.
