32. REMIS BLINDS
REMIBASE PLUS WINDOW BLINDS.
Please note the blinds should not be in the
closedpositionwhenthevehicleistravelling
orwheninstorageforextendedperiods.
Thesun screen is housedat thebottom and
theyscreenatthetopoftheblind.Toopen
eitherholdthecrossbarandpullupordown.
Both blinds can be fully extended to totally
coverthewindoworcanmeetatanyposition
to give sun shading/privacy and protection
frominsectsenteringthevehicle.
Theblindsarepre-settothecorrecttension.
Ifre-tensioningisrequiredpleasefollowthese
steps:
•Theblindneedstobetakendownfromthe
wallbyun-screwingthe4cornerscrews.
•Laytheblindfacedownonatablewiththe
cross bars of both blinds meeting in the
middle.
•The black cords re-tension the y screen
and the white cords re-tension the sun
screen.
•The cords are xed at either side with a
screw. Loosen this screw and gently pull
the cord 5mm tighter and repeat on the
othersideensuringthecrossbarislevel.
•Test the tension. This process can be
repeatedifnecessary.
Cleaning
Theactualplasticprolescanbecleanedwith
a non-abrasive cleaner and damp soft cloth.
Theblindsshouldonlybe dustedlightlywith
asoftcloth.

Function
Both the sun screen and the y screen are
storedatthetop.Thesunscreencanbepulled
downandxedatanyofthestopsintheside
supports. The y screen can be pulled down
andxedatthebottomofthesidesupports.
When released from the xing points the
blindswillautomaticallyretract.BEWARE:DO
NOT ALLOW THE BLINDS TORETRACT TOO
FASTASTHISWILLCAUSEDAMAGE.
Re-tensioning.Ifthisisrequiredoneitherblind
the screw slot on the side should be turned
onceandtheblindtested.Ifthetensionisstill
notcorrectafurtherturnmayberequired.
Maintenance
The sun screen can be wiped with a non-
abrasive cleaner as can the cassette holder.
The y screen can be cleaned with a soft
brush.
Neither blind should be closed (in the down
position)whenthevehicleisbeingtowedorin
storageforprolongedperiods.
