Keeptoroadwaysunlessotherwisedirected.
Adhere to speed limits. Note that these are
generally 10 mph while on site. (Remember
that the stopping distance on grass is
considerablygreaterthanontarmac.)
Only a person in possession of a current
drivinglicencemaydriveonsite.
Parkasadvisedonyourpitch.Wherepossible
leave 6 metres (20ft) of free space around
yourvehicle.
Use of Site
Usetheelectricalmainshook-upinthecorrect
mannerandwithcaution.
Ensure that all fresh water taps/connections
areturnedoffafteruse.
Have care and consideration when using all
facilities (toilets and showers etc) and leave
themcleanandtidy.Youngchildrenshouldbe
escorted.
Cautions
To avoid possible damage to sewage
purication works, only approved chemical
uidsmustbeused.Undernocircumstances
may coal tar, phenol or caustic-based uids
beused.Disposablenappiesandsimilarbulky
itemsmustnotbeputintothechemicalcloset
emptying points but should be wrapped in a
polythene bag and placed in the container
provided. (Put all litter in containers marked
forthepurpose.)
Noise
Donotmakeexcessivenoise.
Children should be restrained from making
excessivenoise.
Flying kites and model aircraft and the use
ofitemslikecatapults or air gunsas well as
ballgamesshouldnotbepermittedamong,or
closeto,caravans.
Musical instruments, music players, radios
and televisions should not be used to the
inconvenienceofotherpeopleonsite.
Openandclosedoorsquietly.
Powergeneratorsmustbeadequatelysilenced
andusedwithconsiderationandaccordingto
restrictedsitetimes.
Dogs and Pets
Alldogsandotherpetsshouldbekeptunder
control.
Unless permission has been granted, no
animal should be let loose on the site and
leadsshouldnotexceed3metres(10ft).
No animal should be allowed in the shower/
toiletblock.
Donotletanimalsfoulthesite.
Fire Precautions

Adhere to and make note of all re
precautionsincludingthewhereabouts
oftherepoints.
It is recommended that a 1kg (2.2lb) dry
powder re extinguisher is carried. It should
complywithBS5423ISO7465andbemarked
BSIorFOCapproved.Itisimportanttocheck
at regular intervals that the extinguisher
is working as is required by types meeting
BS 5423. Make sure that the use-by date is
frequentlychecked.
Careful thought is necessary for the
positioningofareextinguisher,whichshould
be near tothe doorbut nottooclosetothe
cookingequipmentwheresuddenamescould
makeitunreachable.Inthekitchenarea,are
blanketisaworthwhileprecaution.
Unlesspermissionhasbeengrantedbarbecues
should not be used. When permission has
been given,consideration should begiven to
the annoyance that can be caused to other
usersofthesite.Openresarenotallowed.
Awnings and Tents
Awningsandtentsshouldonlybeusedwhen
permissionhasbeengranted.
When on grass and staying for more than a
fewdays,thegroundsheetand/orsideapsof
awningsshouldbeperiodicallyraisedinorder
toavoiddamagetotheground.
