Mixed Mode
Malfunctioninthepowersupply230v.
TheyellowLEDonthepowerselectorswitch
goesoffandtheredLEDonthecontrolpanel
asheswith5Hz.
If in mixed mode the 230v power supply
is interrupted the heater automatically
switchestogas mode. As soonasthe230v
power supply is available again the heater
automaticallyreturnstothemixedmode.
Possible causes can be found in the
troubleshootinglist,pages78&79.
Faultinthecombustionprocess.
TheyellowLEDonthepowerselectorswitch
shinesand the red LEDon the controlpanel
alsoshines.
If the ame goes out in mixed mode (e.g.
emptygascylinderorclosedexhaustoutlet),
theheaterautomaticallyswitchestoelectrical
mode.Iftheheaterrunsinmixedmodeagain,
thecauseforthefaultneedstoberemedied
andthecontrolpanelneedstobeswitchedoff
andonagain.

Maintenance
Only original Truma parts may be used for
maintenanceandrepairwork.
The device must be de-scaled on a regular
basis(atleasttwiceayear).
WerecommendtheTrumasystemcaresetfor
cleaning, disinfecting and looking after the
boiler.Otherproducts–inparticularproducts
containingchlorine–areunsuitable.
Theeffectiveness of the use of chemicals to
combat micro-organisms in the unit can be
increasedbyheatingthewaterintheboilerto
70°C.atregularintervals.
Movepowerselectorswitchtogasoperation
todothis.

Movetherotaryswitchonthecontrol
panelto60°C.Thegreenandyellow
LEDslightup.
Once the water in the boiler has reached
temperature of 60°C, the burner will switch
off and theyellow LED will goout. The unit
muststayswitchedonforatleast30minutes
and no warm water may be removed. The
residualheatin theheatexchangerwillheat
thewaterupto70°C.
Fuse 12v
The fuse is in the electronics beneath the
connectioncover.
Replacetheunit’sfuseonlywithanidentical
fuse.
Devicefuse10A–low–(T10A)
Fuse 230v
Thefuseandthepowersupplylinesmustonly
bereplacedbyanexpert.
The unit must be disconnected from the
mains(allpoles)beforeopeningtheelectronic
housinglid.
The fuse is in the power electronics (16)
beneaththeelectronichousinglid.
Thisnefusemustalwaysbereplacedwitha
fuseofthesametype:10A,slow,interrupting
capacityH.
