Function Description
The liquid gas heater Combi E is a warm-
air heater with integrated hot water boiler
(10 litres volume). The burner operates
fan supported, which ensures trouble-free
functionevenwhenonthemove.Theunitalso
hasheatingelementsforelectricaloperation.
In winter operation the heater can be used
to heat the room and simultaneously warm
water. If onlywarmwaterisrequired,select
summeroperation.
Winter Operation
In winter operation, the unit automatically
selectsthe requiredpower settingaccording
to the temperature difference between the
temperaturesetonthecontrolpanelandthe
current room temperature. When the boiler
is lled the water isautomaticallyheatedas
well.Thewatertemperaturedependsonthe
selected operational mode and the heater
output.
All3energyselectionoptionscanbeusedfor
winterdeployment.
With gas operation the unit automatically
selectstheoutputlevelthatisrequired.
Depending on the fuse protection at the
campingsite,powerof900w(3.9A)or1800w
(7.8A)canbemanuallyselectedforelectrical
operation.
If more output is required (e.g. heating up
or low outside temperatures) gas or mixed
operation should be selectedso that enough
heatingpowerisalwaysavailable.
Withmixedoperation,230velectricaloperation
is preferred if the power requirement is low
(e.g. for maintaining the room temperature).
Thegasburnerisnotenableduntilthepower
requirementishigherandisthersttoswitch
offduringheat-upoperations.
Summer Operation (boiler operation only)
Gas operation or 230v electrical operation
isusedforhotwaterpreparation.Thewater
temperaturecanbesetat40°Cor60°C.
• With gas operation the water is heated
at the lowest burner setting. Once the
water temperature is reached the burner
switchesoff.
• Depending on the fuse protection at the
camping site, power of 900W (3.9 A) or
1800W(7.8A)canbemanuallyselectedfor
electricaloperation.

Alwaysobservetheoperatinginstructionsand

The vehicle owner is responsible for the
correctoperationoftheappliance.
Theinstallerorvehicleownermustapplythe
yellowstickerwithwarninginformation,which
is enclosed with the appliance, to a place in
the vehicle where it is clearly visible to all
users (e.g. on thewardrobedoor) Ask Truma
tosendyoustickersifnecessary.
Beforeusingforthersttimeitisessentialto
ushtheentirewatersupplysystemthrough
with clean water. If the heater is not being
used,alwaysdrainthewatercontentsifthere
is a risk of frost. There shall be no claims
underguaranteefordamagecausedbyfrost.
Materials in the device which come into
contact with water are suitable for use with
drinkingwater(seemanufacturerdeclaration:
www.truma.com–ManufacturerDeclaration).
Room Thermostat
Tomeasuretheroomtemperature,anexternal
roomtemperaturesensor(s)islocatedinthe
vehiclebythecontrolpanel.

Thethermostatsettingonthecontrolpanel(1–
5)mustbedeterminedindividuallydepending
on the heating requirement and the type of
