To bleed the system, set the desired

onthecontrolpanel.
Setthe12vinlinecirculationpumpontheside
ofthe boiler tospeed 5 (Fig.1 [D]): see page
62,byturning the blue speed dial clockwise,
on the face of the pump motor. NB: Speed
is not adjustable if using the 12v circulation
pumpttedintheexpansiontank.
After 10 mins, set the pump back to its
normalrunning speed (2foracaravan,3for

Now power off the Alde 3020 Compact HE

Air Lock
If enough trapped air accumulates at one
point, an air lock can result and preventthe
circulationofhydronicheating.
A ramp or steep slope can be used to raise
one end of the vehicle, causing the trapped
airtoshiftaroundthesystem.Repeatthefull

To clear a stubborn air lock in under 15
minutes, an Alde-certied service agent can
use the Alde 1900-811 or 839 twin-motor
servicepump.

230v electric heating elements, outputting
1050W and 2100W, or 3150W combined,
and drawing 5A, 9A, and 14A respectively
(rounded).
