Warning—(Warnings continued) Obey all warnings throughout the manual. Failure to do so could
cause injury and or equipment damage:
• Warning—If applicable, put the caregiver pendant on the patient side of the footboard or the
patient side of the intermediate siderail when the bed is in transport, see below.
•Warning—Before you move the bed, make sure the communication cable is unplugged and
stored correctly.
• Warning—If applicable, remove the proning accessory.
Caution—To help prevent equipment damage, obey these cautions when you transport a patient in the
bed:
• Caution—Do not push or pull the bed by IV poles or other equipment. Use the transport
handles or footboard. Failure to do so can cause equipment damage.
• Caution—Use caution when you move the bed through doorways. Equipment damage could
occur.
• Caution —The IntelliDrive Transport System is intended for indoor use only. Outdoor use may
cause temporary or permanent damage to the powered drive mechanism and/or drive belt.
• Caution—Before transporting the bed, make sure that the power cord is properly stored on the
hook at the head-end of the bed. Failure to do so could cause equipment damage.
Do not walk in front of the bed during transport. Guide the bed from the sides or by the transport
handles.
• Warning—If applicable, put the Experience Pod Device
in the transport position as shown so the device can clear
doorways.
