Maintaining User-Specific Optimization Settings

Maintain settings for
a single user
1 Run setup.
2 Select an application and optimize.
User-optimized setup
is calculated for the
selected application
and panel type.
Maintain settings for
multiple users
1 Copy the panel type.opt file.
2 Rename it with a unique name (eg, 4
color TBNK_username.opt), and save
it in your choice of location.
3 To use your optimized results, quit the
software, rename the file with its
original file name (eg, 4 color
TBNK.opt or 6 color TBNK.opt), and
move it back into the Setup Results
folder.
4 When prompted, overwrite the
current file.
5 Restart the software, and run setup.
The file is in
C:\Program
Files\Common
Files\BD\Setup
Results.
Restore
BD Biosciences
default settings
1 While the software is not running,
delete the panel type.opt file.
2 Restart the software, and run setup.
The software
automatically
rebuilds the panel
type.opt file with BD-
defined settings.
