5 Testing and Maintenance
5.1 Introduction
To ensure the monitor always functions properly, qualified service personnel should perform regular inspection,
maintenance, and test. This chapter describes the procedures for testing the monitor with recommended test tools and
frequency. The service personnel should perform testing and maintenance as required and use appropriate test tools.
The procedures are intended to verify that the monitor meets the performance specifications. If the monitor or a module
fails to perform as specified in any test, repairs or replacement must be done to correct the problem. If the problem
persists, contact our Customer Service Department.
CAUTION
All tests should be performed only by qualified service personnel.
To avoid data loss, be careful when changing the settings in the User Maintenance and Factory
Maintenance menus.
Service personnel should acquaint themselves with the test tools and make sure that test tools and cables
are applicable.
