Connecting to a Tessera Processor
Having physically connected the processor to an Ethernet network with a Tessera processor
on, launch the Tessera Remote application. This will open a dialogue box that allows the
user to select whether to start the Remote Application in Remote mode or in Offline Editor
mode.
Clicking the Start Tessera Remote window will start the application in Remote mode.
The application will automatically attempt to detect processors on the Remote network.
Note the software version at the bottom of the screen.
Discovered processors show the user-defined name of the processor, the processor serial
number, the firmware version, the IP address and the name of the project file on the
processor.
To connect to the processor, either double click on the desired processor, or click on a
processor to select it and click on ‘Connect to xxxxx’, where xxxxx is the serial number of the
selected processor.
