Passive FTP Port Range

5655 9) or define a port range high er than 10 24 .
Respond with external IP address for passive FTP connection request
You can enable this function when a remot e computer is not able t o connect
to the FTP server using a WAN connection where the FTP server is be hind a
router/firewall. When this function is enabled the FTP server returns the
manua lly spe cified IP add res s or au tomatically detects the external IP
address so that the remote computer can connect to the FTP server
successfully.

window, you can allow access to the
NAS using a Telnet or SSH connection.
NOTE
Only the “adminaccount can login remotely. User with administrator privileges is
not allowed to login remotely.
