To configure the SMTP server:
STEP 1
Click
Adm in ist ration > N otifi c ation > C onfi gure SMT P S erver
from the
Navigation menu . The
Co nfig ur e S MT P S e rver
window opens.
STEP 2
Enter the parameters:
•
SMTP Server
—Enter the name of the SMTP server. For example:
smtp.gmail.com.
•
Port Number
—Enter the port number used by the SMTP server. The def ault
port number is 25.
•
Sender
—Enter the email address that you want to appear in the from: field
of the email header of each email alert.
•
Enab le SMT P Auth entic ation
—Enables SMTP authentication. If enabled,
the system will request authentication of the mail server bef ore the message
is sent. A user name and password must be specified.

User N am e
—Enter your email account user name.

Password
—Enter your email account password.

Use SSL/TLS secure connection
—Enables Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) /
Transport Level Security (TLS) connections.
STEP 3
Click
Apply
to save the s et tings.
Configure SMSC Server

window, y ou
can configure the Short Message Service Center (SMSC) settings to send instant
system alerts via the SMS service provided by the SMS provider. The default SMS
serv ic e provider is Clicka tell. You can also ad d your own S M S s erv ic e provider.
