Password. It is recommended to use a password with at least 6
characters.

Select one of the following options from the
Create Private Network Share
window.

Creates a priv ate networ k sh are folder for each us er. When selec ted
and Next is clicked, the following parameters display:

Hide Network Drive
S elec t Ye s to hide the folder. Th e default is No. If
a personal folder is selected Yes to hide, this personal folder will not be
see n by a n y ot he r use r acco un ts, i nc lu din g a dmi nis tr at or accou nt s, whe n
accessed from a Windows, Unix, or Mac platform. Onl y an user account
assi gned t o thi s personal f ol der can see it. Lat er if you want to change this
fold er for others to s ee, go to that sh are and ed it the acc ount.

Lock file (oplocks)
Yes is the default . Click N o to unloc k the file. By
default, the folder is protected so that another user cannot delete files
from this folder. Onl y an administrat or account can overri de this privilege.

Disk volume
From the drop-down, select the disk volume.

When selected, the wizard completes adding the new multiple users.
The share folder privileges can be configured separately and at a lat er time.

. The
User
window opens and the new multiple user s are listed. If you
selected to create private netw ork sha re folder s for each user, the sh are folders
can be viewed by clicking the
Private Network Share
icon in Actions.
To delete a us er:
STEP 1
Click
Adm in ist ration > Us ers
from the Navigation menu. The Users window
opens.
STEP 2
Click the ch eck b ox next to th e user name tha t you want to delete.
STEP 3
Click
Delete
.
