OPERATION
A
PowerPro and Advantage Controller Bottom DIP Switch Settings
Switch 1: Selects “Day-to-Day” Memory. Factory set to Memory off (See page 39).
Switch 2: Advantage Controller - No application.
Power
Pro Controller - Selects the Footswich Mode of operation - Variable
Speed or ON/OFF mode. Factory set to Variable Speed Mode (See page 40).
Switch 3: Selects the Handpiece operating Mode - Default or Swiss mode (Power
Pro
Electric Two-Trigger Handpiece only). Factory set to Default Mode (See page
41).
Switch 4: Selects the Handpiece Oscillation setting, Single or Multi-turn oscillation
mode. Factory set to Single-turn oscillate mode (See page 42).
When using an Advantage Turbo Handpiece (D9920/D9924) this switch
selects the Handpiece Oscillation setting, Fixed Multi-turn or Adjustable
Multi-turn oscillation mode. In Fixed Multi-turn, oscillations are set to 5 turns.
In Adjustable Multi-turn, oscillations can be adjusted by the user between 1
and 10.
Factory set to Fixed Multi-turn oscillate (5 turns) mode (See page 43).
Switch 5: Selects the Display Mode - Text (English) or Graphical mode. Factory set to
Text Mode (See page 45).
Switch 6: Changes the operational functionality of the Power
Pro Electric Two-Trigger
Handpiece (PRO2200E) to operate like the Power
Pro Battery PRO5200 or
PRO5250 Handpieces. Factory set to operate like the Power
Pro Electric
Two-Trigger PRO2200E Handpiece (See page 46).
Switch 7: Selects the default speed of the Advantage D9820, D9920, D9824, and D9924
Shavers when using a high speed bur. With this switch set to “ON” default
speed is the maximum handpiece speed. With this switch set to “OFF” default
speed is 7K rpm. Factory set to off, handpiece default speed at 7K rpm
(See page 45).
Switch 8: No application.
