3.10 FORWARD TILT INPUT
The R-net TM measures the real angle of tilt using the forward Tilt Input. This information is transferred onto the R-net bus as
standard inhibit messages, which can be interpreted by other modules to effect seat movement inhibits or drive speed limits.
The programmable options are None, Inhibit 8 and Inhibit 9.
If set to none, the Forward Tilt Input is ignored.
If set to Inhibit 8 or 9 the Forward Tilt Input is used as the input for the programmed i nhibit. Refer to ASM/TM Inhibits
Explained at the end of this section for more information.
INHIBITS – GLOBAL
13.1 DISABLE INHIBIT 8 IN DRIVE
This sets whether Inhibit 8 input is interrogated just at entry into Drive Mode or constantly during Drive Mode.
The programmable options are Yes and No.
If set to Yes, the input will only be interrogated at entry into Drive Mode. An example of when this function may be
useful is if a tilt-sensor is used that could be inadvertently operated when driving over rough terrain. By employing this
function, an inhibit will only be applied if Drive Mode is entered with the seat in a genuinely tilted position.
If set to No, the input will be interrogated constantly during Drive Mode, i.e. normal inhibit operation.
13.2 DISABLE INHIBIT 9 IN DRIVE
This sets whether the Inhibit 9 input is interrogated just at entry into Drive Mode or constantly during Drive Mode.
The programmable options are Yes and No.
