Prerequisites for Cable Installation
l Before starting, make sure that none of the components of the AC drive are live. Read all safety precautions in this guide and other
documents available for this product.
l Make sure that the motor cables are sufficiently far from other cables.
l The motor cables must across other cables at an angle of 90°.
l If possible, do not route the motor cables in long parallel lines with other cables.
l If the motor cables are in parallel with other cables, obey the minimum distances (see
Table 11).
l The distances are also valid between the motor cables and the signal cables of other systems.
l The maximum length of shielded motor cables is 150m (492ft). If the used motor cables are longer, contact the vendor for more
information.
l Check the maximum cable length of the filters.
l Only use symmetrical and shielded motor cables.
l Check the insulation resistance of cables if necessary.
