This setting has no effect for AR models.

The following options apply to the I 2 of 5 symbology.

CAUTION

When reading this symbology, the settings for I 2 of 5 Length Control AND I 2

of 5 Check Character Calculation MUST be enabled to increase decoding

safety.

I 2 of 5 Enable/Disable

When disabled, the reader will not read I 2 of 5 bar codes.

DEFAULT

I 2 of 5 = Disable

$CI EN (CR)

I 2 of 5 = Enable

I 2 of 5 Check Character Calculation

This option enables/disables calculation and verification of an optional I 2

of 5 check character. Combinations of these settings are possible via the

Aladdin configuration utility, or contact Technical Support.

DEFAULT

I 2 of 5 Check Character Calculation = Disable

I 2 of 5 Check Character Calculation = Check Standard
