Installing Printer Drivers on the

Identifying Printer Driver Pre-install Status
Before installing the printer driver on your computer, check the IP address of
your printer by performing one of the following procedures.
NOTE: The images used and procedures described in this manual are those of

Press the (
Menu)
button.

Press button until
System Setup
is highlighted, and then press the
(Set)
button.

Ensure that
Report/List
is highlighted, and then press the
(Set)
button.

Ensure that
System Settings
is highlighted, and then press the
(Set)
button.
The system settings report is printed.

Look under the
TCP/IP
heading on the system settings report.
If the IP address shows
0.0.0.0
(the factory default), an IP address has not
been assigned. To assign one for your printer, see "Assigning an IP Address."
