5.2 Selection of the temperature sensors
Thecase/cold-roomcontrollerusestwo-wireNTCtemperaturesensorstoperformcontrol.
Allsensorsconnectedmustbethesametypeandparametersarenotsetseparatelyforthesensors.Thetype
of sensor used can be defined by the Sensor Type parameter (Menu 6-2-5).
The following NTC sensor types are usable:
L243 (K243) Temperature range -50°C to 50°C;
Type K243 sensor can be used in place of type L243. Characteristics of these two sensors are identical.
K277 Temperature range -50 to 50°C
5K3A1 Temperature range 0 to 100°C

All due care must be exercised when installing temperature sensors. Sensor leads need not be
shielded when installed exclusively within the refrigerated display case to be controlled and when
interference is not to be expected (for example from power wires running parallel to the leads.
Otherwise suitable precautions must be taken to protect the sensor leads from external interference.

