To use the power meter:
Note
If you need to save the power reading, use the
power meter function in the SINGLE TEST mode.
1 Turn the rotary switch to SINGLE TEST or MONITOR;
then select Power Meter.
2 Clean the tester’s input port, the patch cord
connectors, and the source connector.
3 Use the patch cord to connect the source to the
tester's input port, as shown in Figure 5-25.
4 Turn on the source.
5 Press
P.
6 For MONTOR mode, select the appropriate
wavelength. The power meter in MONITOR mode
runs continuously until you press I.
7 For SINGLE TEST mode, you may press
N to save
the results.
