19. Arc Staking Out Measurement
Stake out a designed arc by arc staking out measurement, see below figure, after define
the arc by 2points-arc or 3points, the instrument will help you move the rod to the arc.
Here:
S.P– Start point of arc
E.P– End point of arc
C.P– Circle center point of arc
Length: Following arc direction, distance from arc start point to projective point on arc.
Ofline: Shortest distance between measured point and arc, that is the distance on the
perpendicular line from measured points to projective point on the arc.
