Inserting the bas-
ket-type spool
CAUTION!
Risk of injury due to springiness of spooled wire electrode.
► While inserting the basket-type spool, hold the end of the wire electrode firmly to avoid
injuries caused by the wire springing back.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from falling basket-type spool.
► Make sure that the basket-type spool and basket-type spool adapter are fitted securely
to the wirespool holder.
NOTE!
When working with basket-type spools, only use the basket-type spool adapter in-
cluded in the scope of supply.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from falling basket-type spool.
► Place the basket-type spool on the adapter provided in such a way that the bars on the
spool are inside the adapter guideways.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury and impaired performance if the basket-type spool topples over be-
cause the locking ring has been placed the wrong way round.
► Always position the locking ring as shown in the diagram on the left.
