11 Align the magenta patch of the
printed Calibration Chart against
the left side of the document glass.
Note • Place the Calibration Chart on
the document glass.
12 Put at least five sheets of white
paper over the Calibration Chart
and close the document cover.
13 Select [Start].
The message "Gradation
adjustment is in progress. Copy Job - Text" appears and the machine automatically
adjusts the gradation. It takes about 20 seconds to complete the calibration.
When the adjustment is completed successfully, the [Calibration] screen (for screen
type settings) appears again. If there is a problem, the machine stops the adjustment
and displays an error message. Solve the problem in accordance with the displayed
error message.
14 To continue calibration for other screen types, repeat steps 6 to 12.
15 Select [Close] repeatedly until the [System Settings] screen is displayed.
16 Select [Exit] to exit the System Administration mode.
17 Make a copy to check the image quality.
