LUN Group Addition
This function creates a new LUN group, and allocates a volume number in the ETERNUS DX to the LUN, which
can be recognized by the host. The following list shows the maximum number of LUN groups that can be created
for each model.
• For the ETERNUS DX60 S5, 128
• For the ETERNUS DX100 S5/DX200 S5, 1024
• For the ETERNUS DX500 S5/DX600 S5, 2048
• For the ETERNUS DX900 S5, 6144
The procedure to create a LUN group is as follows:
1 Click [Add LUN Group] in [Action].
The [Add LUN Group] screen appears.
