2 Register the created "self-signed SSL certificate" in the storage system as described in "Installing the
Security Certificate" in "Configuration Guide (GUI)".

Login
The procedure for logging in is as follows:
1 Click the [Option] button in the login screen, and select the language (English or Japanese).
2 Enter the User ID and Password.
The User ID and the Password vary depending on which account is being used to log in.
User ID: root
Password: root (by default)
Caution
Up to 16 users can be logged in concurrently from ETERNUS Web GUI (the number of users that are
logged from ETERNUS CLI is not included). 17 or more users cannot be logged in concurrently.
Also note that when another user is already logged in and performing one of the following
operations, a warning message appears and some functions cannot be used. Confirm the current
ETERNUS Web GUI usage state and start operation.
When applying controller firmware
When applying disk firmware
When performing the RAID group diagnosis
When performing the disk diagnosis
Note
Refer to "Define Role" in "ETERNUS Web GUI User's Guide" for user accounts.
3 Click the [Login] button.
The operation screen appears.
