Fan Expander Module (FEM)
A Fan Expander Module (FEM) is a cooling fan module.
Two FEMs are installed in a high-density drive enclosure.
If one of the FEMs fails, the failed FEM can be replaced while the system is running.

READY
(green)
The fan expander module is in normal status.
FAULT
(amber)
The fan expander module is in error status.
IDENTIFY
(blinks blue)
The installation location of the fan expander module is identified
according to the instruction that is issued from ETERNUS Web GUI or
ETERNUS CLI.
