• Registration of the ETERNUS DX
Discover a SAN server with Oracle VM Manager and register the ETERNUS DX. For details on operating
Oracle VM Manager, refer to "Oracle VM User's Guide".
VMware Linkage
■
Solution Overview
Information on the ETERNUS DX can be checked from the vSphere Web Client by expanding the user interface for
VMware vSphere Web Client. The VMware administrator can grasp the physical and virtual mapping related to
virtual machine, datastore, and host system, allowing integrated management of the infrastructure under a
virtual environment. In addition, installation of vSphere Storage APIs for Storage Awareness (VASA) can enhance
the VMware storage management function.
