9 Click the [Set] button to apply the specified settings.
A confirmation screen appears.
10 Click the [OK] button.
The e-mail notification settings are applied.
11 Check the setting completion message and click the [Done] button.
The screen returns to the [Network] screen.
Syslog Setup
If an event occurs in the ETERNUS DX, logs for the event can be sent to the specified Syslog server (external
server).
Note
• Up to two Syslog servers can be set.
• Make sure to check whether the Syslog server receives logs correctly after the Syslog notification
environment setup is complete.
• Logs are not sent again when a communication error occurs between the ETERNUS DX and the Syslog
server.
The Syslog setting is explained below.
1 On the navigation of the ETERNUS Web GUI screen, click [System].
The [System] screen appears.
2 In [Category], click [Network].
The [Network] screen appears.
3 In [Action], click [Setup Syslog].
The [Setup Syslog] screen appears.
