When Controlling by the Power Switch
This section explains how to use the Power switch to turn off the ETERNUS DX.
1 Press the Power switch of the controller enclosure or the frontend enclosure for four seconds or more.

The READY LED ( ) on the controller enclosure or the frontend enclosure is turned off.
IMPORTANT
• After power-off, wait for about one minute before turning power on again.
• If the Power switch is pressed again between the time of the READY LED (
) turning off and the
POWER LED ( ) turning off, the ETERNUS DX power may turn on.
2 The power of the ETERNUS DX is disconnected.
When the power is disconnected, the POWER LED ( or ) of each enclosure is turned off.

When a Power Synchronized Unit Is Used
If the server is turned off, the ETERNUS DX is also turned off.
