Start and end chainage and tangent points can be different for the horizontal and vertical alignments.
Slope elements
Explanation of the slope elements:
a) Horizontal alignment at a defined chainage.
b) Hinge point, is defined by entered offset left/right and height difference.
c) Slope = ratio.
d) Catch point, or daylight point, indicates the point of intersection between the slope and the natural
surface. Both the hinge point and the catch point lie on the slope.
e) Natural surface, is the undisturbed surface before project construction.
