8.11 MX1615B/MX1616B amplifier
You can connect up to 16 sensors or signals to the MX1615B amplifier.
It supports:
Resistive transducers such as strain gages in:
S Full bridge circuit (six-wire configuration)
S Half bridge circuit (five-wire configuration)
S Quarter bridge circuit (two-, three- or four-wire for 120 ohms or 350 ohms);
MX1616B offers quarter bridge with 350 and 1000 ohms strain gage.
S Standardized voltage (±10 V differential or 0 . . . 30 V DC unipolar)
S Resistor-based measurement (Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000 or resistor)
Bridge excitation voltage:
Constant DC voltage or 1200 Hz (AC) square wave carrier frequency with an
amplitude of 0.5 V; 1 V, 2.5 V or 5 V
When TEDS or T−ID is used, the measurement channel is automatically
parameterized after connection.
S Potentiometer
When TEDS or TID is used, the measurement channel is automatically
parameterized after connection.
