  The printer may be out of ribbon because it is out of colour ribbon, so insert a new one. Alternatively, the colour ribbon may have melted during printing, so cancel the current print job, change the heat level in the software, clean the printhead and restart the print job. It's also possible that the printer is loaded with thermal material, but the software is set to transfer printing; in this case, cancel the current print job, set the software to thermal printing, and restart the print job.
