Drain Fuel Tank Sump
--- daily
1. Park the machine on a firm, level surface with the
upperstructure rotated 90 ° for easier access.
2. Lower the bucket to the ground.
3. Turn the auto-idle switch off.
IMPORTANT: The turbocharger may be damaged if the
engine is not properly shut down.
4. Run the engine at slow idle speed without load for 5
minutes.
5. Turn the key switch OFF. Remove the key from the key
switch.
6. Pull the pilot control shut-off lever to the LOCK position.
7. Place 0.5 liters or larger capacity container under drain
hose (2) to collect the drained water.
8. Open drain valve (1) to drain water and/or sediment
through drain hose (2).
9. After draining water, securely tighten drain valve (1).
