Setting Description
Power Mode Options are:
• Maximum performance (default)—Power
savings options that affect performance are
disabled.
• Balanced—Use this setting to save power with
minimal effects on performance.
• Minimum power—When settings are selected
without regard to system performance,
maximum power savings is achieved.
NOTE: Hewlett Packard Enterprise
recommends the minimum power setting for
specific applications, but it is not appropriate
for most customers. Most applications will
suffer significant performance reduction.
Survival Mode Allows controller to throttle back dynamic power
settings to minimum when temperature exceeds
the threshold. This minimum setting allows the
server to run in most situations, but performance
might decrease.
