If a host accesses the volume on the Metro Mirror target site, all read and write requests can
be forwarded to the I/O group that acts as the Metro Mirror source volume, as shown in
Figure 10-159. All host-related traffic must be handled from the remote I/O group, which
increases the long-distance data traffic.
